Salon Success Academy Raises $15K For Relay For Life
The ‘Cut Out Cancer with Salon Success Academy’ team was the top fundraising team at this year’s Relay for Life in Rancho Cucamonga on June 1st. This was the fourth year in a row that Salon Success Academy has participated in the Relay for Life, but this year’s relay was much more personal.
Beauty School Students Help Homeless Teens
The Student Ambassadors at Salon Success Academy organized a holiday party at Operation Safehouse, a shelter for homeless teens. At the party they pampered troubled teens with haircuts and manicures and presented them with holiday gifts. But what meant more to the teens than the gifts and the beauty services was just knowing that someone cared about them.

Students and staff from Salon Success Academy raised over $3,500 for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life at Guasti Regional Park in Rancho Cucamonga, California on May 19, 2012. Student Ambassadors worked around the clock giving manicures, massages, and braiding hair in order to raise money.

Video: Students Style ‘Beauty & The Beast’ Production
The Student Ambassadors from Salon Success Academies volunteered to do the hair and makeup for the “Beauty & The Beast” production at Montclair High School in March. The students were coached by Mr. Nick Alaniz, the Esthetics Program Director at the Upland Campus, who has years of experience doing makeup for television.
